Veteran Programs

Around 76 million people in the baby boomer generation are veterans of the armed forces. Retired U.S. veterans who need home health care can help cover these services by qualifying for Veterans Affairs (VA) programs.

Assisting Hands® Winter Park is an approved provider of VA Programs services for former servicemen and women.

Through VA programs, we can provide long-term care and respite care for veterans and their spouses. Talk to our professionals about the VA programs if your loved one is a senior who is a veteran of the armed forces and in need of in-home care.

Veterans need to apply with the Department of Veterans Affairs to be eligible for VA programs. Those who qualify can access our VA home and respite care services. Our skilled and licensed caregivers provide personalized care, including assistance with daily activities, meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation, and more.
