- Adler Aphasia Center– Aphasia is a language disorder that impairs the expression and understanding of spoken language, reading and writing. It occurs most often from a stroke or brain injury, affecting a person’s ability to communicate, not intellect. The center provides resources, treatment and Aphasia Communication Groups throughout NJ. These groups, facilitated by licensed speech therapists, meet twice a month to allow participants to practice their communication skills and make social connections. - A Need We Feed delivers hot meals to homebound seniors, veterans and children in Ocean County
- Mom’s Meals offers home-delivered meals nationwide tailored to meet the needs of common medical conditions, like diabetes, kidney problems, cancer and heart disease. The Long Term Services and Support/Home and Community Based Services Program provides refrigerated, home-delivered meals to the elderly, disabled, and individuals in poor health, who are eligible for economic assistance through Medicaid Waiver or other government-funded nutrition programs. A post-discharge care program is also available.
