SEA GIRT, NJ—January 24, 2023—To enhance care of families, in Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counites, a member of the Assisting Hands® Home Care staff has earned the Certified Dementia Practitioner® CDP® designation, which is considered a premier standard of Alzheimer’s and dementia care within the healthcare industry. Assisting Hands Home Care is a Sea Girt-based company that provides professional in-home care services to clients so they can remain safe and happy at home.

Victoria Hurley-Schubert, director of community relations, earned the CDP designation from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners this week.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s care is very personal to me, I wish I had learned all of this when my grandmother was suffering with this terrible disease many years ago,” said Hurley-Schubert. “The care options and education around it has grown by leaps and bounds since then and I am proud to be part of it, assisting families along their journey with education and resources.”
